![]() ![]() You can also create and assign tasks to collaborators, who then get notified in their own Toodledo portal. You can invite friends, family and coworkers to view and edit your lists. That’s not to say you can’t use Toodledo to collaborate with others, though. Think of Toodledo as a springboard to make your life more productive. These can be shopping lists, chore lists, book-reading lists or work tasks you need to get done. Toodledo provides a cloud workspace to take notes, build project outlines, track your daily habits, and, yes, create lists. Rather than focus on business users, Toodledo is mostly designed for everyday people looking to organize their life. If you’re looking for a more personal productivity tool than Producteev, Toodledo deserves a look. Other features you need to know about include the ability to generate custom task and timesheet reports, plus export data to a CSV file for database upload. ![]() Integration options include Google Docs, Any.do, GitHub, Outlook, Slack, Trello and ZenDesk. One of our favorite features of TrakingTime Pro is its Chrome extension, which lets you track work time from inside other cloud productivity apps. Desktop tools are available for Windows, Mac and Linux, and mobile apps come in iPhone and Android flavors. Like Producteev, TrakingTime also supports remote productivity management thanks to cloud-powered applications. The user experience centers around a colorful drag-and-drop calendar that rivals Producteev in terms of ease of use, though it doesn’t offer the same level of customization (priorities, labels, etc). The closest cost-analog to Producteev is $ hours. There are several price tiers beyond that with more hours. However, you can only track up to 500 hours per month. The second option starts at $24.99 monthly and lets you add unlimited users. TrakingTime Pro can be billed at $4.99 per user per month or you can opt for a “by the hour” plan. Like Producteev Pro, TrakingTime Pro supports unlimited project and task creation. While task assignment might not be its raison e’tre, though, TrakingTime does include features to create projects and assign tasks and subtasks to your workforce. The tool can also be used to track how many hours your business works for various clients. The cloud tool’s goal is to help you see how your team allocates their workday hours. The iPhone app creates a new heading and section for each task workspace I’d like the see the desktop app do this too. While Producteev focuses solely on task assignment tracking, TrakingTime is foremost an advanced time management tool. The iPhone app clearly delineates task groups from each other, why can’t the desktop app pull this off? The way the desktop app is currently laid out, you only get a small group name listed right under the task itself, but since all your tasks are all still sitting together in one group, it’s hard to tell where one task group ends and another starts. My main gripe is that the app doesn’t easily demonstrate what tasks belong to which workspace when you’re viewing them all in the overview mode. While I have a general love for the Producteev iPhone app, my feelings for the desktop version are a little less amorous. ![]() These are things that make me want to actually use the app. Producteev’s iPhone app is beautiful, and its user interface is also intuitive to navigate and use. I’m a sucker for great aesthetic, and exponentially annoyed with it’s not taken seriously. And to my point about design, it’s clear the Producteev team put a lot of thought into the user interface of their iPhone app. ![]()
